The EinScan-SE is a marvelous machine with a decent price tag. On top of that, the EinScan software is very good in calculating the mesh and aligning scans, making post-processing a breeze. The software also allows you to prepare your scan for 3D printing, making it easy to reproduce an item on your desktop printer.
The EinScan-SE is a high-end 3D scanner sold at a very affordable price. It’s relatively fast, has great accuracy and a streamlined workflow achieved by a very intuitive proprietary software. The model can be easily assembled in a few minutes. The calibration process is very straightforward and scanning doesn’t take a lot of time. Aligning different results automatically and manually is pretty easy, thanks to the capabilities of the EinScan Software. Post-processing is also extremely simple.

The EinScan-SP is a powerful desktop 3D scanner targeting prosumers. It is able to capture the geometry of small to medium size objects in three dimensions. The EinScan-SP uses structured light technology and offers two 3D capture modes: Fixed Scan and Auto Scan. The Auto Scan mode is uses a turntable with markers to capture objects from a 360° angle. It is a versatile and fast 3D scanner that offers high quality results. This 3D scanner is suitable for a wide range of professional applications.
In our opinion, the EinScan-SP is the best desktop 3D scanner on the market right now. Even though it comes at a cost and has some shortcomings, its software stitching algorithms, ease of use, and scan results more than make up for it.
